Autism doesn't define me. Writing does. It fuels me like nothing else. Left to my own devices, I would likely live at de Vere's Irish Pub, perched on my favorite barstool, nursing a pint, while hunched over my laptop.  

Though sometimes written in pubs, my stories are influenced by German Expressionism, as well as classic literature and a genre called JRPG (Japanese role-playing games) acclaimed for narrative depth and character development. It was my mother who introduced me to German Expressionist films in my teens. She suspected I would be captivated by the 1927 film Metropolis. She was right. 

Dante's work forms a thematic backbone in my stories. I reference his epic poem Divine Comedy in Geist Prelude. Geist refers to the spirit of an individual or group. Prelude indicates that the first novel was the start of something bigger.
